Eco'vay is open to just about anything; she'll engage in most casual RP, adventure, combat related stuff, etc. There obviously will be stuff I won't be comfortable with (do ask to avoid discomfort) but we'll see!
In-game, if one should wish to partake in an RP session, all they'd need to do is ask. Sometimes just shooting a start up her way will be good enough. Her RP tag will never be thrown above her head UNLESS she is currently partaking in a session.(RP of any kind CAN be moved to other media if one cannot be in-game, or has to leave game but wishes to continue. Let me know should this happen and I'll gladly do so!)

Backstory
Eco'vay, or better known as Eco for short, was raised by a family consisting of 1 Male Elezen (Adopted Father) 2 Female Hyur (Adopted Mother and younger adopted Brother) and 1 Elezen/Hyur Hybrid (Adopted older Sister) living in Sharlayan. Eco was found by her Adopted Parents when visiting Thavnair, as only an infant lying near lifeless next to the corpses of her Biological Mother and Father. She had a pin on her with a name that was half destroyed, Eco being the only thing readable; and thus they built her new name using this, and their last name, Daeteva.Growing up, she was a thrill seeker; restless, always looking to have fun, and sometimes getting into trouble. When of age, she attended schooling for various things her parents thought she'd love. Ultimately, she failed everything. This lead to a bit of frustration for them and her. They let her choose her own path eventually and, despite choosing topics she truly loved or thought she was good at, she still failed. Her constant failures stabbed her adopted father right in his ego, as all of his children grew up quite successful, except for Eco. Years and years of lectures, watching friends move on while she was stuck, and sometimes physical abuse when she verbally fought back, it all changed her.
Her changes started slowly with her physical appearance, going from Blond to Black. She retained her Red streaks but even chopped a lot of her hair off. She was no longer this adorably preppy energetic Miqo'te, but rather locked herself away most days and lacked motivation to do anything. She eventually gave up trying to please her parents and was kicked out after 1 last hit, where she decided to hit back; leading her and her father to nearly killing one another. She packed what little she had and set sail for Limsa.After taking a few days trying to find purpose in an unknown world to her, she heard about Ul'dah and made way to it. At that point though, she had not a single gil to her name and often had to resort to begging, doing simple jobs for others, stealing, or hiding in ships as they sailed. Once she finally arrived, she started back up her old ways back in Limsa 'til she was caught and tossed behind bars. Someone had been keeping their eye on her though and bailed her out after 5 days passed, with one exception: To basically be their slave for their dirty work.
She despised these terms, but agreed nonetheless. Few days behind bars was better than a few years, especially at a young age. She served this man well, learned various new skills; such as how to manipulate Aether, build and/or tinker with Magitek, stealth, how to fight at a range and up close, and she was good at it. The man treated her both right and wrong, however, and often times "rewarded" her for deeds he deemed good or for obedience, but abused her badly and reminded her to "know her place" when she failed or disobeyed. Beating her until she bled and couldn't stand was usually the best punishment and one she'd take in a heartbeat if he gave her options on how to be punished. Eco, like any other individual, had a limit to the things he put her through and eventually couldn't take the abuse, or being forced to abuse the innocent anymore and rebelled.Threats did nothing anymore and when he proceeded to punish her one last time, she fought back. After loosing many battles, she finally won the war, returning the favor of beating him 'til he was out cold, and turned him in. One of the man's closest friends didn't much like this discovery and sent out a former Garlean Gabriel unit after her to kill her a couple months prior. She fought long and hard but eventually came out on top again, even rewired it to serve her and only her. She's had it ever since as her trusty mount.
With a new and very convenient form of transportation, she went back home and took up schooling for Aether Manipulation and Magitek Engineering. She passed with some of the highest grades and was even offered a position as a teacher for Magitek related content.Her father wasn't all too fond to see her back, on a Gabriel unit no less, but was otherwise proud that she too ended up a successful child of his....She didn't care though and ignored him completely after stating he didn't raise her; the streets did. Eco also accepted the Magitek Mentor position with the exception that she can come and go at will, that those interested in learning about Magitek would have to schedule a head of time. To this day, she still soars the skies, builds and repairs Magitek contraptions, gets into fights/trouble a lot, hones her skills in a similar fashion to that of Red Mages and Machinists, teaches in Sharlayan, etc. She gave up the life of hurting innocents, stealing, etc....without proper reason anyways.
Hooks
Eco is someone who anyone can easily approach and have a conversation with, though she can be rather intimidating at times depending on how sour her mood is. Should one say "Hi" and she DOESN'T respond with a "Piss off!" then they're likely in the clear for a normal conversation
Its not everyday one also sees a Miqo'te flying upon Garlean tech. Tech-savy individuals might be interested to learn more.
She does NOT consider herself to be a Red Mage. Despite the similar styles between her and other Red Mages, she utilizes her magics to benefit no one else but herself or some individual that won her over. Other Red Mages might frown upon her actions.
Being a former student and current professor in Sharlayan, those younger than her might have attended a class or 2 she's made an appearance in, or were taught directly by her. Those older than her may have been in her classes and watched her fail and get left behind (be nice about it, or be a dick about it, it matters not!)
She's often found hanging around Ul'dah, Sharlayan, Thavnair from time to time, and other places that may require her attention.
Additional Info
Eco is a very lonely individual. She has no friends and often deals with everything alone. Often times hides this through acts of aggression and pushing others away.
She has always liked the style of a singular glove on one hand. Even as a kid, she wore one. As she got older, she swapped hands due to covering a mark on the opposite side.
While she's a hybrid between Keepers of the Moon and Seekers of the Sun Miqo'te, she mostly resembles a Moon with the natural attributes of a Sun. Due to her mix, her eyes aren't as sensitive to light and can see at night better than any Sun, but still slightly worse than a Moon. Her pupils become more slit during the day as well, and more marble at night, but not entirely. Her Gold eye is mostly a marble Moon and her Blue eye is a Sun slit; both change slightly depending on time of day.
Eco is very on guard almost all the time. While out on adventure or roaming the realm to sell trinkets she's made, she's always armed with her Rapier or a Gun. Even when roaming inside major cities wearing casual attire, she's often seen with her Rapier upon her hip or her Gun upon her back.
After discovering what hair dye was, she applied Red streaks to her long Blonde hair. This remained after cutting it short, and even after regrowing it and tying it into a ponytail. Red has always been her favorite color and is even applied to many of her outfits. It's also what first nabbed her attention towards Red Mage. She has also painted various spots on her Gabriel Red to stand out from the typical Garlean battle drones.
